Recording sometimes distorts -- Delta 44

Hey,

No rhyme or reason to this, but recording sometimes produces a distorted take. I'm using VV3 & WIN 98SE.

Anyone experience this?

Jessariah,
I used to have the same problem with the Delta 44 and Win98SE. It drove me insane for a couple of months before i finally tried an older driver. The driver you need is del22.27.exe Go to the M-Audio and download it. I'm almost possitive this will solve your problem.

P.S.- another option is to upgrade to XP, that's what i run with now, the 44 and the OS work great together.

What will this do with the Acid 4.0a problems out there ? (I haven't had any major problems with Acid 4 so far...)
