you mean recording an audio stream off the internet? Sure, you can do this. Just set your channel input to your sound card.

I have 3 options listed in the Audio Device tab:

Microsoft Sound Mapper
Direct Sound Sorround Mapper
Windows Classic Wave Driver

None of them seem to work for this.

I have a Creative SB! Series sound card that only shows up in the defaul audio recording device once I select Windows Classic Wave Driver.

Double-click the little speaker icon in the lower right corner of the screen, click Options / Properties / Recording. From this mixer choose "Stereo Mix" or "What U Hear" or whatever seems similar to that. Vegas can now record whatever you hear while it's playing.

Great, thanks Chien, now it works. So what are those three options I have in the audio device tab?
