Using Vegas Movie Studio 16 on Windows 10: I accidently deleted my sfk file just as I was saving it. I noticed a file 06-13.vf.bak. Is this a backup I can restore (as of some level in my editing progress)? Thanks
Sfk files are just audio waveform files for showing on the timeline. VMS will recreate any missing when you next open your project. Nothing to worry about.
As I said, my skf project file is empty when I try to pull it back in. So is my 0613.vf.bak file able to retrieve anything? When I tried to open it up it wouldn't load. What is it for?
Sorry misunderstanding? You had a project file named sfk.vf? But then you mention a file 0613.vf.bak. Anyway remove ".bak" from that file's name and it should open in VMS.
