At the beginning of each of my .mxf files there is a tag that read RecStart. What is this, there is no mention of this anywhere. I see it on both the audio and video tracks in the time line.

It's just an essence marker indicating that's where the recording started, nothing to be concerned about.

Cool...I've been using Vegas for 6 years and have never seen it. Then again, I just started working with .msf files. Is there a way to get rid of the marker?
