red blocks

This is for Movie Studio 13.0 but I don't see any other place to post this. When I am doing a pan and crop, sometimes as I move the slider down, I get a big red block. This is on the preview window of the Pan and Crop popup. It is not on the movie window. I don't know what is causing this. It usually is only for a few frames. Anyone has any idea what could be causing this. I saw a youtube video about it using a certain plug in. Don't remember the name of the plug in. The only plug in I have used is the one for brightness. But it happens even if I am not using it. Thanks.

I have windows 7 64 bit. I took a screenshot but I don't see any place to add it to this message. It is just a .wmv movie that I had make with a Sony camcorder. I believe it was converted with Windows Movie Maker to .wmv but not sure because I don't remember because it was done in 2011. It only happens on a few videos. I can describe what the scene looks like. In the preview window of the "pan and crop" instead of seeing the preview, all you see is red. Example, looking a one frame, I see a water fountain in New Orleans then went I go to the next frame, all I see in the preview window is a solid red color.

Okay, I fixed the problem or so it seems. I used a wmv to mpg converter and change my video to a mpg file and no red screen on the preview window. So, it had to be the .wmv format.
