Red Eye Reduction in Vegas

I often takes peoples own stills from events and mix them with Video

I usually have to fix the photos first and red eye is a common problem which I use photoshop for.

How would you do this in Vegas? I often pan the still images as well

Regards, Paul

PS. What I would like is an option similar to the Open Copy in Sound Forge but for images so it created a filename Take 2 and opened that in the editor of choice, one ofr 5.0b maybe?

Personally I wouldn't do it in Vegas. If you already have a technique in PS, stick with it. Just my opinion.

I've done it once with the secondary colour corrector. Don't recall the entire MO, but I used the - what's it called? - pipette? eye dropper? If you get undesired effect (on other red surfaces in the fame) you can copy the event uncorrected to a track above and mask out the eye part there.
For quick masking, use a full stop or some other shape from the text generator and set it to a high point size. Then it's very easy to pull transparency, colour and whatnot up or down.
