I thought this warranted a separate thread (from the "Canon DV Preview Problems" thread) since I noticed something specific yesterday that could be causing the blue screen in V5:
I should preface this with I preview through a JVC VS30U deck and this was written yesterday:
This morning I captured a tape, did some editing to it, printed back to tape then deleted the files from the HD. This afternoon I started a NEW project and captured another tape. The second frame on the timeline is a frame from the tape captured this morning (remember the files were deleted and this was a NEW project)....however I can only see this frame in the preview window and not the external monitor. I advance to the first or 3rd frame and they are visible on the external monitor. So when we see this blue screen external monitor perhaps we should check to see what is showing on the preview window and report back.
