region code lock!!!??

hi everyone i have been using powerdvd xp and i played 3 different region dvds and now when i want to play a regular region dvd it says region code is locked region 3...this is like a nightmare...pls help... how can i change this or find a new dvd software...thanx

At http://www.vcdhelp.com you will find a number of software players that allow you to switch without the limit that powerDVD and WinDVD impose. Look under "Tools" and then "DVD,SVCD,MPEG2 Players" DVD Genie is freeware I have not tried it yet. Sasami2k is stuttering a bit on my system, but I have not tweaked it yet. Good luck!
