Region view bumped up--help?

Apologies for bumping this question to the top, but I see the forum really starts cooking on Friday afternoons.

I have upgraded to V4 and find that when I create a region on the timeline, strictly by the manual, nothing shows when I switch to the explorer-region view below. What am I doing wrong? I want to name regions as scenes for a film I'm editing, and I have a ton of it to do tomorrow, Saturday.

Hi,

The regions view is for regions saved in the media, that's why its in the explorer module. Regions can be marked in the Trimmer (good takes for example) and saved for later use.

If you would like to save scenes as a rendered files, you can mark each file as a region and view them in explorer that way.

You can see project regions in the Edit Decision List (EDL) window.
