Registering vegas after crash not happening

I cannot register vegas 11 after we built a new machine. It worked the first time then we had to redo the software on drives and went to iget our reg again I get this server is unable to get reg number message. I even tried on another computer and I get a -41 error Unable to get registartion number code.Never seen this before. Just once in vegas 10 the "You have exceeded the download limit..." message.
Weird and noone to call. Bummed.

It used to say too many activations but I see that has changed.I tried this. Hopefully they get to these rather quick or I am stuck with backup work loads. Thanx for the reply.

-41 has been signifying "too many activations" for quite some time now.

They are pretty good about resetting that. Still on V8, and have had several machines crash/rebuilds.
