Reinstalling-Authentification Code

Hello, everyone, I recieved Vegas as a gift a couple years back, but recently, it was reset due to a computer crash. I now have my activation serial code but to register, it asks for an authentification code and it says it should be provided to me via email/this website. Could anyone help? Thank you so much.

Enter your serial number and choose to register via another computer. This will give you an HTML file to open. Upon completion of the process on that screen, you will get the e-mail with the secondary code. BTW, the code for the OLD computer would not work on the NEW computer anyway.
