I uninstalled Vegas 5 which caused a poblem with Vegas 6. I then uninstalled Vegas 6 and reinstalled it and all went perfect. Took less than 5 minutes. Nothing else required.

Grazie might be interested in this. All he wanted for Christmas and within 2006 was a working media manager. Grazie, tried uninstalling all Vegas versions and installing 6c?

Yes he has. Amazingly enough, he CAN get it to work but it's a convoluted process and prevents Vegas from opening the next time unless extreme care is taken BEFORE exiting Vegas.

. . phew . . .sorry lads, just got back to London after a whirlwind fun time with relatives . . .

I can CTRL+SHIFT ( factory default - yeah? )on opening Vegas6c, and Media manager will work, and it will only work for just that session. After I close that session and fire-up/reload Vegas6c, MM falters and hangs Vegas - period.

Here's the thing . .. I CAN have MM working within ACID 5, no problem AND MM worked in Vegas6b. Yah just gotta larf aint yah!!??

Grazie

Larf, barf. All the same. Just trying to bring the darn thing up without going back to all the reinstalls, toolbar customizations (?sp), et al that go on and on and on . . .

All I want is an opportunity to get MM up and running without going back to VideoFactory 2.0! Eh? Eh? Back in MY day we didn't have all this fancy stuff, and there wasn't nuthin over there, and nuthin over there either . . . I am my own Grandfather, sigh.

Happy Holidays, Darryl
