Remote Control button order

I have 5 text based buttons on one of my menus. Each button plays a stand alone video - meaning none of the five buttons are related (they are not chapter markers for a single video, that is). They are arranged in a vertical list on the page and these correspond with order which i added them to the project -- they are numbered 1-5 in the tree on the left side and also arranged vertically 1-5. However, when I preview the DVD and navigate to this menu, the BACK button is highlighted when you first arrive at the page. This is fine with me. Then when I then hit the down button one time, it jumps to video button number 2. Skipping over the first video link. Then jumps to 3-5 then i have to hit the up button to get to video number 1.

how do you change the highlight order?

Use the NAVIGATION TOOL for the menu -- it lets you indicate where to go using the Left/Right/Up/Down arrows...

NOTE: that works in DVDA3 and above -- not sure about earlier versions of DVDA

I've noticed that if i move the menu buttons around at all, the next/back order gets messed up. So i always go through navigation on every menu page and make sure they're all correct.

Even if i don't have to fix anything that got messed up, i still like to tweak this anyway. It always strikes me odd that when you're at the rightmost button in a row, pressing the next key on the remote stays there rather than moving to the first button on the next row. Continuing on to the next row seems vastly more logical to me. I always take the time to add these extra little navigation niceties to my menus.
