remove loop region / sync issue

While trying to select a portion of an event, I accidentally created a loop region. It added a yellow "in" marker and a yellow "out" marker above the timeline. How do I delete or remove this marker, not the video itself.

Second, I am trying to move the video portion of an event, after having ungrouped the event audio/video. According to the help files, I should use the 1 or 3 keys to move the video event a frame to the right or left. I confimed the events are ungrouped by dragging the video with my mouse, but when I use the 1 or 3 keys to move it frame by frame, nothing moves. How do I move the video event one frame at a time?

thanks

Loop region: just click the button Loop Playback or press Q and the looping is switched off and won't disturb your editing or previewing.

Move event: It is 1 or 3 on the NUMERIC keypad so make sure that NumLock is on.

Ctrl-Shift-L toggles the loop region on and off.

Thank you both. Keypad works. Turning off loop region works with keyboard shortcuts, but the grayed out turned off loop region stays. Am I understanding that this stays and can't be removed?

Thanks again,

RL

Most of the time there's no need or reason to remove it. However, if it really annoys you then you can press i and then o without moving the cursor. This will create a new loop region with a duration of 0 at the cursor location, which in effect makes the loop region noexistant.

I turned on "Collapse loop region" in the preferences. Now when I click somewhere, the previous loop region is removed.

I don't think I could use Vegas without the ability to "Collapse loop region" in the preferences. That's the first thing I check when I install Vegas.
