removing extra timeline time

I know this has got to be the dumbest question ever....and for that I apologize, but I can't figure this out.

Just finished a one-minute segment that I want to render....which works just fine...BUT it also renders the extra 2 minutes that are left on the timeline. I've tried everything obvious to get rid of the extra blank time...there are NO events in it of any sort past the end of my project....but I can't seem to delete or cut the extra time. I don't want these extra two blank minutes at the end of my movie!

I must confess that I'm a little surprised by the barebones documentation...I've ordered a book on Vegas 6 from Amazon, and assume that it will help.

I KNOW this is going to be a smack-my-head simple answer....but.......thanks...

Double check that you don't have a loop region specified and when you render, make sure the "render loop region" box isn't checked.

The book from Amazon may be about Vegas and not Vegas Movie Studio, so what you'll find is there will functionality talked about that may not be available to you, still, it will help for most things.
