I have used the VirtualDub Delogo filter directly within Vegas by using Wax, a free program that you can pick up at www.debugmode.com. You install Wax. It then shows up as an fX in the Video fx dialog. You apply this to an event. You then, from within the Wax fX dialog, select the VirtualDub Filters button. If you have installed correctly, you should now see all your VirtualDub filters. You then apply the DeLogo filter.

Caveats: This worked fine in Vegas 4, 5, & 6, but started getting flaky in 7. Don't know about 8. Also, if you closed the project and then re-opened, you had to re-apply the Delogo filter because the settings are not stored anywhere on disk. Finally, you have to create your mask from within VirtualDub itself and then load that mask within Vegas.

So, in the end, I am not sure this approach is worth the effort.

Another way to go, which I have done many times, is to get the Frameserver from the same site listed above. Then, frame serve into VirtualDub and do the delogo work there. Thus, you do all your editing in Vegas, and then apply the DeLogo filter to the final result.
