Removing Loop Markings Completely.

Somehow I managed to add a loop to my project even though I don't want it. When I render, it insists on rendering just the part with the loop marking at the top. I have tried everything to disable this loop including disable loop in Options. I can move the loop marking at the top of the tracks to different areas and for different sections but I just can't remove it completely. I have searched through the manual and tried a search.

Can anyone please tell me how to totally remove the loop marking, (Yellow triangles each side of a grey bar).

Thanks.

Just ignore them, but in the rendering just before clicking OK to render Un-tick the box "render loop region only", you might have to give the loop alittle more room to untick the box...

You can also move to the beginning of the project "00:00:00;00" on the timeline, and press i and o on the keyboard to set the beginning and ending loop markers there. As long as both beginning and ending are the same then the loop doesn't exist.

I'd pay for a button on the toolbar that does this automatically. ;)

btw - in my experience you don't have to move to the beginning of the project first. You can set the loop beginning & ending to be the same at any point on the timeline, and it will no longer "get in the way" when previewing or rendering.

Quite true. But then you still end up with those little yellow triangles sitting there wherever the cursor was. It's visually distracting. Not a major issue, but as long as i'm getting rid of the loop i wanna get the markers stashed away in the corner too.

For my part, I don't want to hurt the little yellow traingles' feelings, so I let them stay close by.

You have sooooooo just made me think of the movie "Tron". Wow, i haven't see that in probably 25 years.

I own it on DVD. 'Bit' says "YES" (that's "hi" in bit talk).
