removing time delay

Is it possible to remove a time delay in the L/R channels?
Recording was made from sound board on left channel, and
microphone on right channel. Voices are great on left, but music
is much better from mic.I'm using Vegas 4. Thanks in advance.

Open the sound clip in another track so that you now have it lined up in two tracks, one under the other. Right-mouse-button click on the upper event, click channels, left only. Do the same thing with the lower event choosing right only. Pan the upper track all the way to the left and the lower track all the way to the right. You now have independant left & right channels. Slide them back and forth on the timeline to adjust sync.

If you have Options / Quantize to frames turned on then you'll only be able to move them in one frame (probably 1/30th second) increments. Turn off quantize to frames to be able to position them in smaller increments.
