Removing unused video clips

I know we can remove unused clips from the media pool, but is there also an automate way to remove these unused files from your hard disk ?

I haven't found one. It would be nice feature, but, I can also see where it might cause some problems. For example, the method I use now is to make a WordPad list of the clips that are not used, then I go into Windows Explorer and seek and destroy. A couple of times, though, I have ended up needing one of those clips I deleted and had to go back and recapture them from the camera.
