Render a AVCHD Disc from DVDA Studio

So I have a High-Def Sony Camcorder and I have Vegas Studio 9 Pro Platinum that came bundled with DVDA Studio 4.5. I am looking for a way to render the DVDA Studio project to AVCHD, but I can't figure it out.

I don't think Sony would bundle a product that would require you to give up the HD content to add menus and buttons, but that seems to be my choice. I can render a AVCHD disk from Vegas studio, but I like the look that the menus add from DVDA Studio.

I would really like to keep my HD content and add the menus from DVDA Studio if possible.

I appreciate any help that can be offered!

Just guessing here 'cause i'm a Vegas Pro user and haven't used the studio versions since version 3. However, we didn't get HD burning in DVDA until version 5 came out. I suspect that DVDA Studio 4.5 doesn't have it either. Maybe when Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9 comes out it will include DVDA Studio 5 with BluRay capability.

Sorry, doesn't help much, other than maybe confirm your problem.

You can burn a blu-ray dvd from the VMS timeline only. You won't have any menus. This is where Vegas marketing fails big time.

Thanks for the quick responses, greatly appreciated. Confirming the issue actually is quite helpful, as it will allow me to quit trying to figure it out! I have many hours invested, I am sorry to say.

I did burn 2 copies 1 from VMS in HD and 1 from DVDA with menus and in SD. I determined I would rather give up the aesthetics of the menues and scene selection for the HD quality.

Again, thanks for the responses!
