Render As ?

Hi,

I have been rendering my projects as "Main Concept Mpeg2 (*.mpg) (SVCD Pal)"

And using nero to write the file to cd as svcd.

I have just bought the Sony C500 AX DVD Writter and would like to burn my projects to dvd.

What render settings should I use in Vegas 4 to produce a file suitable for writting to dvd.

I think it should be "Video for windows *.avi - Template Pal DV"
Is this correct ?

Nope - Still MPEG2 but at DVD rates.

Rendering in the setting jetdv recomends will also save you the time of nero encoding the video for DVD compatibilty. Nero does great mpeg encoding, but the MC one is slightly better (i've compaired them side by side).
