After doing a number of punch-ins I am left with a track with several events butted against each other. I am satisfied with the track as a whole but I would like it to be one contigious .wav fle rather than several butted against each other. I used the command "Render As A New Track". It did in fact render as a new track and created a new wave file. While rendering I glimpsed the message "Rebuilding Peaks". When the rendering operation was complete I was left with a silent (flat line) wave file. What did I do wrong?
