whyyyyyy in the wooooooorld does it take so long to renender. it seems like Vegas has a terrible rendering engine. it doesn't utilize my processor like it should....
are there any tips/tricks of the trade i should know about for improvement in renderinh
1. Always render to a different hard disk than the disk that contains your source files. Makes a big difference.
2. Make sure you haven't "nudged" the opacity or volume level for any event, and that all your track levels are at 100% (unless you actually wanted to change them). I wrote "audit" scripts that will check this for you automatically: Audio Scripts
3. Don't use supersampling, motion blurring, resampling, or compositing, unless you need to.
Having said all this, if you are asking Vegas to create totally new pixels for every single frame, it can take a long time.
