Render frame size different than one selected

Hi,

I use Vegas 3.0c and find that sometimes the frame size I get in outputted video differs from my render settings. For instance, I am trying to make a 480 by 480 MPG2 movie and though I specify this in render instructions, I end up with 640 by 480, which isn't even in the template. Is there a workaround for this, or am I missing something? Thanks a bunch!!

Guessing, but might want to open the created mpg2 in wmplayer or vegas etc. to check out the frame size - 480 x 480 is svcd size, and a lot of players automatically stretch it out to ~640 x 480 which is what was intended on a svcd - less width saves room on disc.
