Render gamma out of my control

When I try to render fraps avi to x264 or pretty much any codec, the finished video appears washed out. I render 1080i to 720p in Vegas10 Trial. Is there a solution?

Assuming it's a simple colorspace issue, the sRGB->cRGB preset should work.
You'll find it in the Levels fx.
