It sounds like "Render loop region only" is enabled in your render settings.
Disable it and you should be OK.

Thanks Mike.

Fixed.

I highlighted entire footage just to make sure and it worked.

I now have a 3.7GB avi file - rendered.

What SW do u rec to rip this file onto a DVD?

Generally "rip" refers to getting the file off the DVD and onto your hard drive. Sounds like you want to do the opposite, which would be "burn". Are you making a Video DVD? DVD Architect works great! Are you simply burning a data disc containing the video file? Use whatever burning software came with your drive. I use Nero, but just about any burning program will do.

Keep in mind that the standard ISO format is limited to 2GB/file. If you want to keep the 3.7GB file in one piece you'll have to burn UDF format.

Hi Chienworks.

My apologies - "burn". It is very late/early in morning here... :-)

Just a simple straight burn without effects is fine..

How do I ensure my end file is in UDF?

In whatever burning software you use you will specify what type of disc you are creating before adding any files. Generally you have choices such as Data CD, Audio CD, Data DVD ISO, Data DVD UDF, Video DVD, etc. Simply choose the one with "UDF" in the name.

Thanks.

What is the diff between DATA DVD UDF and Video DVD?

A Data DVD is used for storing data files and looks just like hard drive directories when you mount it. A Video DVD has a specific structure for containing .VOB files and other accessory menu and control files for playback in a DVD player.
