Render Problem?

I recently had a series of bad luck with my PC. Power supply blew and after I replaced it I had windows trouble and attempted a "Repair." The system is still unstable a bit but I'm too busy to do another total windows install. Problem is I can no longer record audio through my Tascam US122 - it's all garbled. Other more critical problem is a strange bevel effect on the bottom and right sides of my videos. It's hard to explain so I'll post a sample video. (it happens to be a 28mb file:

Can anyone tell me if this is a render settings issue (like interlace?) I didn't change any settings on vegas from before the windows repair so I'm guessing it's some sort of memory allocation issue... who knows.

edit: appears my LinkCreator v8 isn't working with the forum? Here's the link:

I played the file last night in MoviePlayer un Ubuntu but I couldn't see the bevel you're talking about.

Let me try again on a windows machine...

Can't see the bevel effect in windows either. Makes me think the problem is with your player rather than the render but I don't have a clue why that would be.

Rob, good reply. You prompted me to try another player. It appears to be a WMP problem only. Mmmm.... interesting.

Thanks for the reply.

Your WMP but not mine. Makes me wonder...Is the bevel actually more like an offset image? Is the bevel material actually the top and left edges of the picture?

I just reinstalled WP11 and everything is fine... at least with the videos. Seems after my recent windows "repair" version 9 of WMP was reinstalled. It must have been seeing some remaining bits of the old V11 still in there somewhere. Thanks Rob.
