Render Problem Related to MIDI

Other people have reported this, but it might get lost in the threads.

I enabled my External MIDI control on my working install of Vegas 11 on Win 7 32 and tried to render. It immediately crashed. Disable MIDI and it works again.

PLEASE SONY, CHECK THIS OUT> I am using the Korg Nanokontrol, but other people are reporting the same thing with other controllers.

I am having the same problem with build 510/511 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine using either a M-Audio MidiSport 2x2 or the midi ports in a firewire attached PreSonus FireStudio.

It's definitely related to having a Midi port configured for use by Vegas Pro 11 with the 510/511 builds. Problem introduced with 510/511 builds.

Is there a fix?

Yes, a render from Vegas Pro 11 build 511 with MIDI enabled, (whether MS GS Wavetable Synth, or PreSonus FireBox MIDI) causes instant crash.
