Someone on this forum gave me these settings and they've worked really well for me on YouTube (Sony AVC rendering):
------------
Video format: AVC
Frame size: High definition (1280x720)
Profile: Baseline
Entropy coding: CAVLC
Frame rate: 24.000 (Film)
Field order: None (progressive scan)
Pixel aspect ratio: 1.0000
Bit rate (bps): 3,500,000
-------------
NOTE: I've experimented with bit rates of 1.5Mbps and 2.5Mbps with good results.
Thank you both,
The resolution of the project is 1052 x 308 - not a standard size I know, but it's for a web page, not youtube.
I'm not sure what program they will use to convert the file, but I just want to provide the best quality file I can.
It sounds like Sony AVC is better than mainconcept?
Paige
Either Sony or Mainconcept AVC will work fine.
You will want to prep either for streaming using MP4 Fast Start.
These files do not need to be converted in order to play in Flash players.

Ideally, AVC should be rendered with horizontal and vertical dimensions that are divisible by 16.
