Render settings

I use a canon 70 that shoots 1080p 29.97fps and a Panasonic video cam that uses 1080p 60FPS.
I want to setup my rendering and want to just be able to play them on the TV and if I want to make a DVD or Bluray I can do that later. Just interested in keeping the highest quality of the finished video and am confused as to what I should use for the template in Movie Studio Platinum 12. Any help and or opinions would be appreciated
Thanks Jim

Playing it on TV, sending it to BluRay and sending it to DVD are actually three different Render templates. Each medium has its optimal render settings.

What software are you going to use to play it on your TV and which video format does it play? What device are you going to play it through?

And to produce your DVD and BluRay, are you going to output discs with no menu systems, or do you plan to run your output through DVD Architect Studio to create DVDs and BluRays with menus?

Thanks for the quick response. As far as playing it on my TV I would use my laptop and windows media center or just media player. O would like to have one high quality file that i could use on the TV or take it reprocess into a bluray or DVD'S if needed.
Really looking to have one edited file to archive and play on the TV then render it for other purposes if necessary
