Can someone give me a heads up on what is the best process for rendering out of Vegas Pro 8 Canon Xh a1 HDV footage that will then be converted to flash (FLV). I have not found the correct settings yet so I am all ears and appreciate all the advice and help here.

Thank you ahead of time. : )

Looked all over the web and nothing . Any ideas would be...well awesome at this point. : ) Did try a few things like mp4 to flv. Not too bad but could be better.

Render to AVC/MP4 and play it in Flash. No need to convert anything.

Another alternative is HandBrake.

Super by Erightsoft will convert AVC/MP4 to FLV, but it isn't necessary.

Thank you for your response, but the website I use (moonfruit) only uses FLV so I have to use this type. I did try the mp4 coversion and then to flv. It wasn't as good as I need it. I am looking for that super quality that sites like hula use or ven something smaller screened that uses flv.
Any more help? Thanx ; )

OK, encode AVC/MP4. Transcode that file to AVC/FLV in Super. That's as good as it gets.

Render to WMV then upload to YouTube, then download the FLV.
