Render Settings w/ Elgato Game Capture

Hi.

I'm wondering why when i render a game clip in Movie Studio the quality gets worse on Youtube than my base clip on my Computer.

A game clip?

What is the format and resolution of this "game clip" and what codec does it use? You can find this out by opening a video file in Media Info, a free download.

What Render As setting are you using as your output? There are ideal settings for video for YouTube. If you upload video in, say, an interlaced format, it's going to look awful once YouTube gets done with it.

Getting good quality is about a) Using project properties that are as close as possible to your video specs, and b) using a Render As option that is optimized for the medium in which you're going to display it.

Yo,
I was wondering if you ended up finding a way to get better quality. I've been having the same problem and it's frustrating specially when you look up YouTube videos on how to fix it and the quality still looks ugly. I hope you can help me Thanks!
