Till now I have edit a couple of home movies with VV 3.0 which all become very good. I render to the default SVCD PAL template in VV. I use the VV Mpeg2 decoder to do so. Then I burn the file with Nero. All great. But... now I want to do some tests with rendering to the default DVD PAL template which is also in VV 3.0 available. My original file is a AVI DV from a digital mini camcorder.
Can anyone tell me or the default DVD PAL template gives a better quality then my good quality I already have with my SVCD's? I mean... a better quality on TV, because... I already did a test by rendering directly from the timeline to DVD PAL (same as I do with my SVCD), but when I look at it in my computer I only can see some very small quality differenses between SVCD and DVD PAL. The DVD Mpeg file is also a little shokky.
Thanks!
