"Render to new track" or something similar

i'm looking for something like the "RenderToVideoTrack" script, but as it is compiled to a DLL, i can't modify to suit my workflow.

anyone have a script or sample that i can use? i want to render working area or selected clip to a new track (the same track always) with predefined options (render template, folder, etc..)

thanks in advance ;)

I have a script, RenderEventAddAsTake, that does pretty much what you want. For each event selected, it does the render according to pre-defined templates inside the script (no GUI, although I do have a GUI version as well) and then adds the result as a Take to the original event--not to a new track, although it could be easily changed to do that. The new file is saved in a sub-directory (automatically created) of the media file location. If interested, I'll clean it up a bit and upload it to Dropbox and send you the link via PM.

please, do! it would be very useful for me ;)

i prefer the "no-gui" version, as i will make as "1-click only" ;)
