Render to New Track - Problems

I have Vegas 4.0, sound card Audiophile 2496, Pentium 4, Windows XP.
When I execute command "Render to New Track", that new Take moves to the left and it in contrast with original shorter. Other programs, for instance Samplitude 6, do this correct.

be sure your project and render sample rates match

And make sure you uncheck "render loop region only" unless or course you are rendering a loop region ;-)
