Render to Quicktime

I have to deliver an uncompressed QT file for theatrical projection. However, my 1280x720-60i Vegas 11 file doesn't seem to want to hook up with
Quicktime Pro. Rendering directly to a QT 7.0 file is grayed out, so I've been trying to render something that QT Pro will recognize and export as an uncompressed .mov. I've tried .avi, .mp4, mt2s, and variations, but I can't seem to render anything that QT Pro will render to an uncompressed .mov file.
Any suggestions short of editing in FCP?

QT should work fine. Which version are you using?

Isn't 720 progressive only, not interlaced?

Can't Quicktime handle both?

Try the Best Renderer template instead of Uncompressed. On the Video page choose Mpeg-4.

720i is not a valid HD standard. 720 is progressive only. Maybe you just typed "60i" in error in your original post. If you really did manage to create a 720 60i format file, maybe QT catches it as non-standard and can't do anything with it?
