Render to Ram Died !

Ability to render a selection to RAM just inexplicably stopped.

Cannot render using Shift-B on a selection, and the RAM Render command in the Tools pull-down is grayed-out.

Have made no changes to an ample cache allocation --- or any other changes to Video, or anwhere else.

Please HELP!

Welcome to the forum. What version of VMS? What steps have you done to remedy? Restarted PC?

Have 7.0 Platinum. Have done nothing to remedy, except to recheck my cache allocation for ram rendering, to be sure it hadn't changed somehow.

It is more than enough --- but not too much --- for what I have been doing for the last few years, and what I am doing now. (It is less than 1/2 of available cache)

And, yes, have restarted the PC, numerous times.

Can't figure out what else to do.
