Has anyone had an experience where rendering to .wmv video
casuses your PC to crash - completely lock up, so that a
physical reboot is the only out?
I had probably 10 such crashes yesterday, and it seems it
was always when rendering to .wmv.... but only after 8
minutes or so of render.
I had another this morning, after I had successfully
rendered a very short clip to .wmv - the system crashed
AFTER vegas was shut down, and I was working in Flash.
This has never happened before (yesterday was the first
time I rendered to .wmv).... seems like too much to be
coincidental.
I'm curious if anyone else has seen this happen. It's not a
major setback if that's all it is - one can always render
to .avi and used Windows Media Encoder to convert to .wmv -
i did that with no crashes.
Feedback anyone??
