Render video with alpha?

Do any video formats support an alpha layer? Can Vegas render video w/o a background color? I haven't been able to get that to work...

Sweet, it works...
I couldn't get it to work at first though... Then I found the Alpha Channel combobox on the media tab of the video event properties (for the imported avi)... it defaults to None, I needed to set it to something else (premultiplied worked well).
