Render with Audio

When I render for output to DVDA, I always tick the 'Include Audio' box (saved in my render template). Elsewhere in this forum, members always describe the process as a two pass, one for just video and the second for audio. Am I doing my quality any misjustice by ticking the box?

The thing is that if you want DD 5.1, you need to render it separately as no DVDA template contains it.

You can include AC3 when "burning BD from Vegas timeline", though.
