Render Wizard option in Pro

Having upgraded from Vegas Movie Studio to VP16 and now 17, I still miss the Render Wizard with simple shortcuts for output to DVD Architect for DVD or BluRay. Or to YouTube etc. I'm sure the wizard could be PRO-ised by registering your own top 10 render styles and even the 'next app in the chain' in a wizard type UI. I guess I could write a script to do this. One benefit of the wizard was that a DVD uses a separate video and audio - and it output this in one step, while I now need to do the rendering in 2 separate steps.

Or am I missing some magic hidden in the Pro render dialog?

@merlin-beedell I checked out the new "Dashboard" Ctrl Alt 8 (Not Ctrl Alt F8 as in manual) but I think not what you want. I use Vegasaur for 1 click render to DVD .iso.

Interesting thing is that if you hover over the "Power User Mode" in the Dashboard the hint says you have all of the powerful features available to you in Vegas Movie Studio? I guess someone overlooked updating the "hint".

This hint should say Vegas Pro.

Correct - not the dashboard! Of all the things they brought across from VMS, the dashboard was the least expected! The slide show feature was most welcome - though it really needs to be able to obtain image files from the current Vegas project or selected set on the timeline.

Has anyone tried Vegasaur with VP17 yet? Does it have a prep feature for DVD Architect (rather than the 1 click render to DVD.iso - as I need to add menus etc.)? And render and upload to YouTube / Vimeo etc?

Using Transcoder, you can render as many formats as you need

And render and upload to YouTube / Vimeo etc?

Doesn't Vegas do this? (File > Share Online)

Ah (blush) so it does. I'm so used to the Vegas Studio way of initiating a render via the wizard that I made assumptions. Never assume!

I'll check out the Transcoder next.
