Rendered audio not same as original

I set each audio clip level in VMS. Music, narration, sound effects were all used. Some used fade in/ outs., no envelopes, all were wavs. With respect to relative balance all is fine in preview, but after rendering the music level is definitely reduced. Has anyone else seen this problem. It forces a trial and error for each rendering... not a good situation. Thanks for the input.

I think if you use the gain meter on the side it will reveal how much "punch" your sound has. it is easy to adjust by clicking on the sound track and just pulling it down to match your voice "punch". The meter is pretty reliable at getting the real sound at the TV the way you want it. I think the preview balance is influenced by your volume and speaker settings which may throw you the curve. In any case this seems to work for me.
