Rendered media from VMS HD P10 to DVDA

I would like to import a rendered file from VMS HD P10 to DVDA to set up a chapter menu on my HD project.
In VMS HD P10 I chose Tools / Burn Disc / Blu ray Disk / Render Image only.
I select what I believe are the correct options for my HD project i.e.
Video Format ~ Sony AVC
Video Template ~ Blu ray 1440 x 1080i – 50i 15 Mps Video Steam
Audio Format Sony Wave64
Audio Template 48,000 16 bit 5.1 PCM
Etc.
The render completes satisfactorily and is saved in my C: drive
However, I just cannot get it across into DVDA.
I try DVDA / File / New / Single movie / Settings as above / and attempt to open my rendered media *.iso
I simply get the error message “The selected file is not of the required type”
File Open is interested only in DVD Architect Projects .dar.
So I would appreciate advice how to actually get a VMS HD rendered project into DVDA

DVD Architect wants a video file. An ISO is not a video file. It's a disc image (Google it). To render a video, go to File (or Project, whichever the latest version of VMS calls the first menu) and Render As... From there, choose a file type and template.

That said, if all you want is a single movie on a disc without a menu, you don't need to go through DVD Architect. Just do what you did in VMS but make sure it burns to a disc rather than creates an ISO. If you don't get the option, then either you don't have a suitable burner or VMS can't find it.

It didn't hit me until Rob pointed it out.... you want to use Make Movie> Hard Drive > then use the appropriate Format and Template.
