Rendered movie, audio and video out of sync

I finish editing my movie and play it back to check everything is ok and it is but when I make the movie the audio is just out of sync. Ive only just purchased this software 4 days ago so i'm a bit of a novice.

Are you using analog input via video capture card and your computer soundcard?

If so - you are likely running into the same problem I did - a quick solution is to run the signal through a DV camcorder and then into the computer via firewire.

I had the same problem when capturing direct from the camera using USB. FireWire fixed that.
