I've created a project that I'm trying to render to MPEG-1 so I can burn a VCD. This is the second project that I've done using the video portion of vegas. The first I recorded to VHS using a digital camera as an D/A adapter. I'm new to rendering digital video. The problem I found is that I've rendered the project (and it took a long while to render) but upon playback using Windows Media Player the video portion got to the first fade and then stops like a freeze frame. The audio plays fine. Is there a step that I'm missing. Do I need to pre-render the fades before I render to MPEG-1. Any thoughts on the possible problems would be much appreciated.
