Rendered video ends up really thin

Hey Guys

I have VEGAS MOVIE STUDIO 6.0

When i render a movie it always ends up really thin and will not fill the screen on the computer or TV once burnt.

This happens no matter what setting i seem to use.

PAL DV WIDESCREEN and just PAL DV do it.

Please note: I use PAL as I am in Australia, as opposed to NTSC

Do you record your footage in the camera as widescreen or as 4:3?

For this video it is just JPEG images but all my others are recorded as 16:9 Widescreen

Ok, but this doesn't answer my question. Do you want to export widescreen or 4:3?

Um.....Widescreen

Ok, export at 1280x720 resolution, progressive, and with aspect ratio 1.000.

Your "project properties" dialog on vegas must be set with aspect ratio 1.000, progressive, "best" quality, too, possibly at the same resolution as above too.

THANKS HEAPS!

If possile could you also tell me how to do it with not wide screen thanks!

You can always create a test project of 3-4 pictures to see if this works the way you want it to.
