Rendered video file not seen by DVDA

I have DVD 4.5d and VMS 9.0b
I used the "Render As" in VMS and rendered the video and audio separately - this was the ONLY way I could render the AVCHD clips without the program crashing or having errors. If i used Make Movie, I got errors and crashing.
For the video file:
Used Main Concept MPEG-2 and template Blu-ray1920X1080-60i.
For the audio, I used: Dolby digital Ac-3, 5.1 surround.
Rendered both audio/video files with same name in same folder.

Went to DVDA to burn the project. In that folder, only the audio was visible - not the video. This is an MPEG-2 file. Other MPEG-2 files from other projects are there, but not this one.
WHY is this?

If you're using DVD Architect Studio 4.5, it's not capable of burning a hi-def BluRay disc.

Version 4.5 can only create DVDs (standard def) so you render from Vegas Movie Studio a DVD-ready 720x480 MPEG instead.

This file should load right into DVD Architect Studio.
