If you're printing to DV tape, then you must use the DV .avi codec. If you're in PAL land, then you should use PAL. The only custom change you can make is the Video rendering quality. It defaults to Good but you can change it to Best if you wish. However, this usually slows the render down without noticeably improving the quality much.
