80 MB for 3 minutes? This is 3.5 Mbit/s only. This actually is very small even if it's SD sized.

The original video was shot on a cell phone and it had three songs. I cut one song out of the original and edited it. I sent the render to my client and he played it fine. When he tried to put it on FB or youtube, he got an error message saying they don't accept zip files. Unless WeSendIt.com compressed it, we did not.

Vegas neither, Vegas can't output or render a zip file as zip is not a video format. You need to upload a video file.

That is what we did. Maybe WeSendIt changed it to a zip file???

That is likely. Many file delivery services do that. Google drive, for instance, will auto-zip any file download with more than one file in it. Tell them to unzip the file first.
