Rendering

I use Vegas Video 4 to editing my movie, and DVDA to burn my movie to DVD. I need advice to rendering. Today I render my movie in Video 4 to mpeg2, and load mpeg2 in DVDA and burn. Or should I render my movie in Video 4 to AVI, and lets DVDA render to mpeg2. What method gives best movie?

The only tricky bit is a direct render from the timeline of a SPECIFIC mpeg2 DVDA template for the video and a second render of an ac3 audio. There are exact directions in the HELP files.

For convience, I just render to an *.avi as an archive file, and let DVDA sort it out. (which it does very nicely). DGrob

The qulaity of the render should be the same for V4 and DVDA, however, encoding in V4 is much faster.
